Robert O'Neal incorporated Standard Industrial Machinery in January of 1980 after spending 14 years in a job shop and 2 1/2
years working in machinery sales before starting this business. Keith, Robert's son started working part time in the shop at
the age of 13 sweeping, cleaning and painting, and joined the company as a full time salesman in 1993 after college. We are
located about 50 miles from the Birmingham, Alabama airport and 90 miles from the Atlanta, Georgia airport. We sell a wide

We have a new 22,000 sq. ft building with a 20 ton crane located in an industrial park just west of Oxford, AL at exit 179
off I-20. We buy complete plants or just one machine, and also do complete plant liquidations and auctions. Robert is a
certified equipment appraiser through AMEA, a division of MDNA, which Standard Industrial has been a member of since 1986.
